Although the foam panels will give some protection from knocks and falls, it is not certified to provide Impact protection. The race armour buoyancy aid is developed with sufficient buoyancy as per regulation EN ISO 12402-5:2020, Practice and training are required with this device before use. Teach the child to float in this buoyancy aid.
Please note: Since the UK exit from the EU, there are further Buoyancy Aid regulations that will come into play for the UK market from January 2023 onwards. All Rooster buoyancy aids are currently undergoing these tests to make sure that they align with both EN ISO 12402-5:2020 and the new UKCA Module B certification.
