The standard boom block is mounted to the mid point of the ILCA boom. Attaches to the boom with the stainless boom block eyestrap (sold separately).
 
This is the upgraded Bullet Block for the Laser boom, made by Harken. The ball bearing blocks run very well with low friction and low total weight.
