This fluorescent yellow painter line is a versatile utility line that is suited for a wide range of dinghies and not just the Optimist. It has a 5.5 mm diameter and a polypropylene core. Polypropylene ensures the line floats and prevents it from sinking under the boat or getting into the engine of the coach boat, which is a significant safety and operational concern. The main advantage of the fluorescent yellow color is superior visibility (also known as high-vis), which makes the line much easier to see against the water and is a significant factor in safety and ease of use.

Diameter: 5.5 mm. This size is robust enough to handle the stress of towing or securing a small dinghy, but thin enough to be easily coiled and stored out of the way on classes like the Laser/ILCA, 420 and Optimist.
